Colors: All Hail The Queen (Butter London), Teddy Girl (Butter London), Super Star! (Pure Ice), Turquoise & Caicos (Essie), Nice is Nice (Essie), Borrowed & Blue (Essie), Splash of Grenadine (Essie), Siren (Pure Ice), Black Lingerie (Revlon), Fairy Dust (China Glaze)
Since today is my younger sister’s birthday, I thought I’d feature a cupcake mani. :)
I know it looks like I used a million colors for this, but this design is actually pretty quick and easy to achieve. Start by painting your nail a base color. Then, paint a French tip in any color, and use a striper or any other small/thin brush to paint on cupcake lines in a darker shade. Use a dotting tool (or bobby pin) to create the white frosting, and then use a smaller dotting tool (or toothpick) to create sprinkles and a cherry. I decided to add a layer of Fairy Dust on top to really make the design sparkle (especially in sunlight). Let the design dry for a few minutes (to avoid smearing your nail art), and then add a top coat to seal it in.
This mani is so cute, and really easy to recreate. I hope you’ll give it a go. Just try to avoid licking the “frosting” off your fingernails! ;)
