Colors: Big Hair…Big Nails (OPI), Papaya Punch (China Glaze), Cheeky Chops (Butter London), Black Lingerie (Revlon), Silver Glitter (Amko striper)
Guess who’s going to see The Lion King in 3D today? This girl! And so a Lion King mani was a necessity.
Through the process of this mani, I’ve discovered two things. First, lions are still as hard to draw (even in silhouette!) now as they were back when I first came home after seeing The Lion King 17 years ago (I was 7 years old—ahh!) and second, a (clean) kitchen sink sponge is NOT a good replacement for a make-up sponge. The two are not the same! I just moved, and I have no idea where my make-up sponges are. x_x
Regardless, hopefully this manicure turned out nice. I didn’t really have a specific reference picture. I was thinking of the sunrise at the beginning of the movie, and obviously, Pride Rock. And I’ve included the smaller photo in the corner so yall can sorta see how it would look from far away. What do yall think?
