Color: Blonde Bombshell (China Glaze)Retail Price: $6.50 (USD)
This shade is from China Glaze’s winter 2011 Eye Candy collection. It is a glitter polish with several shapes/flakes of glitter throughout. Since there’s so much gold, I had to really squint to try to pin it all down. I saw gold microglitter, regular-sized gold glitter, large gold glitter, and a few bits of gold bar glitter.
The formula for this shade is fairly good. The glitter covers the nail well, although you’ll probably want to apply one more coat than you think you need. In the photo above, I’m wearing 2 coats of nail polish, but upon taking photos, I realized I had some visible nail line that I didn’t really notice while just looking at my manicure. I definitely needed 3 coats!
Overall, I really like this glitter! It’s probably half as glittery as Boom Boom Pow (Deborah Lippmann), but it’s still capable of completely covering your nail in about 3 coats. This would be great for your holiday celebrations and definitely a glitter I’m considering for New Year’s Eve parties!
