Color: Kristen (Zoya)Retail Price: $8.00 (USD)
This shade is from Zoya’s winter 2011 Feel collection. It is described as a “gull gray nail polish with a mild bluish hue,” although I honestly feel as though the description could sort of be flipped around. Kristen is just as much a gray with a mild bluish hue as it is a cool light blue with a grayish hue. It’s this versatility that makes Kristen a great shade to wear as winter transitions into spring.
The formula for this pastel nail polish is surprisingly opaque. Application was a little streaky on the first coat, but fully opaque in only two coats.
Looking for a dupe? Cocktail Bling (Essie) is very similar, although Kristen is brighter and, in my opinion, easier to apply.
