This shade is from the January Bombshell Julep Maven box. It’s described as “a playful and sultry Mediterranean aquamarine shimmer,” and I think I agree. It reminds me a little of Ocean (Revlon), although instead of teal, Megan leans more blue.

The formula for this nail polish is incredibly sheer, and application is very streaky. You’ll need a steady hand to make sure you get a smooth finish. Julep polishes promise to be opaque in only two coats, and I was skeptical due to the sheer formula, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. I’m wearing two coats of nail polish in the photo above, and there isn’t any visible nail line. Magic!

This shade is a perfect way to bring a pop of color to your winter wardrobe, and it transitions beautifully to spring as well.
