Color: Rumor Mill (Hard Candy)

This shade is from Hard Candy’s Just Nails collection. It is a dark plum purple with a glossy creme finish. On the nail, it is slightly darker than it is in the bottle.
The formula for this shade is incredibly opaque. I’m wearing only one coat of Rumor Mill! Back when I reviewed The End (Hard Candy), I mentioned that I liked the slightly stiff brush, and that applies here, too. It really helps with creating a clean manicure.
My only quip is I think this shade is a little too dark. I see way too much black and not enough purple, and considering I love purple nail polishes, that might be more of a personal problem! But in general, I love Hard Candy’s creme finish nail polishes, so if this is a color you like, the great formula and price makes this a bottle you should definitely pick up.
