Anonymous asked: as far as nail polish removers go...I've had trouble getting really sparkly nail polishes off, even with a base coat. is it okay to go store brand with nail polish remover? and what's a good way to remove sparkly nail polish? thanks

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using store brand nail polish remover.

When I remove glitter nail polish, I generally use pure acetone. At Sally Beauty Supply, it costs just as much as regular nail polish remover, so it’s not that expensive at all! However, acetone is pretty harsh on your nails, and it will dry your skin out, so I limit my acetone use to only when I remove glitter nail polish from my nails.
