Color: Winter Berry (China Glaze)

This shade is from China Glaze’s winter 2011 Let It Snow collection. It is a deep red berry color with a glossy creme finish. In the bottle, it looks like it might be a lighter vampy shade, but it actually looks fairly bright on my nails. I think maybe because Poinsettia (China Glaze), from the same collection, is so bright, Winter Berry just looks that much darker.
The formula for this shade is so opaque! I’m actually only wearing one coat of nail polish on my pinky, and two coats on my ring and middle fingers. I think all my fingers look uniform, so even though you may be tempted to use two coats, it’s entirely possible for one coat to be enough with this shade.
If you’re looking for a bold, romantic red to add to your stash, this may be the nail polish for you!
