Color: Marry A Millionaire (China Glaze)Retail Price: $6.50 (USD)
This glitter is from China Glaze’s winter 2011 Eye Candy collection. It has small pieces of purple glitter with greenish-blue bar glitter. I wish it also had some holographic glitter in it because I think it would fit in a little better with the rest of this collection, but I do think it’s cool how the bar glitter looks like electricity when it catches the light!
In the bottle, this glitter looks stunning and so unique, but on the nail, it’s a different story. It looks like a glitter art project gone wrong! The green bar glitter is only visible from some angles…when all that purple isn’t covering it up! This glitter does build up nicely, but you’ll have to push back any bits of bar glitter that end up hanging over the edge of your nails. In the photo above, I am wearing 3 coats of Marry A Millionaire.
This is the most unique glitter of this collection, but I’m not so sure I prefer uniqueness over the quality of the final look! I really wanted to like this. The green bar glitter mixed in with the royal purple glitter is such a clever combination that matches this shade’s name, but it really doesn’t transfer onto the nail. Such a shame!
