Color: Breezy (Milani)
Retail Price: $4.49 (USD)
This shade is from Milani’s permanent Color Fiesta collection. It is an electric blue shimmer that reminds me of summertime. It also looks like the shimmery cousin to Dude Blue (Milani). In the photo above, I am wearing 2 coats of Breezy.
While this shade is surprisingly opaque, the formula is a little thin, which makes application tricky. The first time I swatched this, I loaded up my brush with as much nail polish as I usually use, but the nail polish basically slid down the curves of my nails and flooded my nail beds. Not pretty and super messy! The second time around, I got barely any nail polish on the brush, and applied extremely thin coats of nail polish. That did the trick!
This nail polish is also fairly streaky. You’ll need a steady hand to ensure a clean manicure.
I really like the final look, and the shimmer looks great in the sun, but the formula is such a turn-off. Thin coats are definitely the trick to a clean, bubble-free manicure, but this was sort of ridiculous. I felt like the nail polish had a mind of its own! Ahh! I’m hoping my experience with other shades from this collection is better. Fingers crossed!
