Anonymous asked: Hi, I was wondering if you could give me a few suggestions on polishes. I've recently discovered layering and wanted to invest in my first bottle of flakies. I'm wearing Zoya in Jem and I think it would look really great with a layer of flakies. What's a good one to invest in? Also, have you ever used any polishes from Urban Outfitters? After Hours is a holo glitter and it's one of my favorites ever. :)

I love layering, and flakies always result in a beautiful finish. If you want Zoya flakies to match your Jem manicure, you should check out Zoya’s spring 2012 Fleck Effects collection. Finger Paints also has a flakies collection out right now. All the bottles look exactly the same, though, so you’ll have to make sure you read the names of the flakies, and check the nail polish display for sample images to make sure you get the kind you want.
