Colors: Parker (Julep) and Annette (Julep)
Retail Price: $14.00 (USD) per bottle

I missed reviewing my monthly Julep Maven boxes while I was away on my hiatus, so I’m going to use the next three days to review my April, May, and June boxes, respectively. With that said, today, I’ll be reviewing my Bombshell box from April. Enjoy!

Parker: This shade is described as a “golden tangerine creme,” perfect for either a spring or summer manicure. I would say Papaya Punch (China Glaze) is a dupe, but the formula for Parker is much better; Papaya Punch is a bit thick, whereas Parker’s consistency makes application smooth and practically effortless. In the photo above, I am wearing two coats of Parker.

Annette: This shade is described as a “subtle, dove grey creme.” I think the cool, not-quite-white nature of this shade makes it more suitable for spring or winter looks, but if you use Parker or any other bright creme to swipe on some French tips (Julep’s nail art idea for these two shades), you have yourself a neutral manicure that’s perfect for summer, too! As always, the formula for this Julep creme was flawless, and was opaque in an easy two coats.

The Best Pedi Créme Ever: If you’re a fan of pedicures (like me!), you need this stuff! It exfoliates, hydrates, and nourishes your feet. Julep suggests applying it nightly, but I think it’s also a good idea to rub it on your feet right after a pedicure. It’s just so soft and soothing! My only issue is I wish the container were larger. I know I’m going to run out of this pedi créme way too soon!

Overall, I was pleased with the April Bombshell box. Also, I love that Julep’s started providing nail art ideas and other tips with their boxes. Not only do the orange/Parker French tips look great, but the nail art ideas can be combined with other unique color combinations, too. Keep it up, Julep!
